Boroondara Park Animal Hospital was proudly featured in the Spring edition of the Companion Magazine in recognition of the 'Hospital of Excellence' accreditation by the ASAVA. The magazine is distributed Australia wide in the veterinary industry.

BPAH ACCREDITED AS AN ASAVA 'HOSPITAL OF EXCELLENCE'

Boroondara Park Animal Hospital is proud to announce that we have been accredited by the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association as a 'HOSPITAL OF EXCELLENCE'.

There are only approximately a dozen accredited veterinary facilities in Victoria, and we are the only accredited vet in the Boroondara locality.

As an accredited ASAVA 'HOSPITAL OF EXCELLENCE' we meet independently assessed criteria as set by the ASAVA. Accreditation criteria includes the quality of the facility, equipment, treatment and procedural protocols, reference materials and staff training.

ASAVA accreditation allows us to join a small group of 'best practise' hospitals, that are able to assure you and your pet the absolute best of care.

We have the pleasure of welcoming our two new Saturday morning veterinary nurses, Clare McClumpha and Gemma Berkett.

Clare and Gemma are both currently studying veterinary science at Melbourne University. They are very keen to met you and spoil your pets!

VET CARLA ATTENDING ASAVA CONFERENCE IN AUGUST

Vet Carla is attending the ASAVA conference in Thoracic Medicine and Surgery for dogs and cats. The conference runs from Sunday August 7 through to Saturday August 13.

Attendance at the conference is part of Carla's commitment to continuing education.

Our vet Cindy will be filling in for the week. Many of you may have met Cindy previously in her role as the regular locum at Boroondara Park Animal Hospital. Cindy is a highly experienced and kind vet, and she maintains the high quality and care we offer you and your pets.
